Le Grand Point Virgule is programming the family play “Sherlock Holmes and the Blue Diamond Adventure” until March 26, 2022. A new theatrical adaptation of Sherlock Holmes by Christophe Delort.

After Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Boscombe Valley, still showing at Grand Point Virgule For years, Christophe Delort committed a new adaptation from adventures from detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Blue Diamond is also played Grand Point Virgule, until March 26, 2022.

Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Blue Diamond (The adventure of the blue carbuncle in its original version) is one of the 56 adventures from Sherlock holmes. A news first published in 1892 and published in France under the title of The blue carbuncle. If this story has known, in the past, film adaptations, it had never been adapted on the boards. This is now done.

This interactive survey, not without the so British humor of Sherlock, tells the story of the curious disappearance of an exceptional diamond in a hotel room. On the scene, 3 actors, born Christophe Delort, bring 10 characters to life.

If you want to buy yourself a good slice of laughter in family during the Christmas and New Year, meeting with Sherlock holmes to Grand Point Virgule.

Our review :

In Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Blue Diamond, Christophe Delort applies, once again, the recipe that made the success of Boscombe Valley.

Short scenes to make the room dynamic, a interactive show where the public is encouraged to share their deductions with the Doctor Watson, a text full of puns and many current references (James bond, public service …) and the work of Conan Doyle.

The Blue Diamond Adventure it is: a horse that disappears, a diamond theft, a turkey discovered in the oddly crowded street. But also characters, besides Sherlock holmes his raincoat and his hat, sometimes crazy like this judge with the Creole accent (also seen in Boscombe Valley), this poultry that cries like a fishmonger. And above all the resolution of this intrigue with explanations, reconstructions and investigations.

The whole gives a room led drum beating by a merry little troupe, funny, which appeals to young and old alike.
