In a packed Diochon stadium, QRM wanted to show his audience that he could create the feat against the legendary club AS Monaco. Florian Jozefzoon sets fire to the Monegasque defense in the first moments, but lacks lucidity in the last gesture to arm a strike (1st). Duckens Nazon is close to the opening of the scoring, but his shot is rejected by Radslaw Majecki (3rd). Monaco replied and Nicolas Lemaitre had to work with a handball player stoppage in front of Myron Boadu who appeared in front of the QRM goalkeeper (14th). Nicolas Lemaitre is once again decisive in front of Wissam Ben Yedder who presented himself in front of him with a new stopping of the foot (24th). Duckens Nazon is found in the deep. The latter fixes his vis-à-vis and his strike is countered by a defender (28th). Monaco will open the scoring from the penalty spot through Wissam Ben Yedder. The French international A deceives Nicolas Lemaitre, however on the trajectory of the ball (33rd, 0-1). And the ASM will punish QRM again a few minutes later. Kevin Volland perfectly stings his ball in front of Nicolas Lemaitre and doubles the bet (37th, 0-2). QRM didn’t say its last word and closed the gap just before the break. Garland Gbelle serves Kalidou Sidibé who gets on his left foot and rolls his shot into the skylight of Majecki (43rd, 1-2). The Red and Yellow returned to the locker room with a one goal delay, nothing was done!

QRM starts this second period with the desire to equalize and restart the meeting. Following a free kick combination, Duckens Nazon found the small outside net on his attempt at ground level (51st). Shortly before the hour mark, Kevin Volland took advantage of a favorable counter to find himself facing the game and facing Nicolas Lemaitre, which he adjusted to score a double (58th, 1-3). Myron Boadu cuts the trajectory of his teammate’s cross, but Nicolas Lemaitre pushes back the attempt (65th). Bruno Irles opts for an offensive end of the match with the entries of Manoubi Haddad and Bridge Ndilu (67th). Perhaps a turning point in this match where Duckens Nazon leaves on goal and is destabilized by his defender when concluding, Antony Gauthier does not flinch (68th). The strong cross in front of Manoubi Haddad’s goal did not find any teammates (74th). The strike of the young Maghnes Akliouche is captured by Nicolas Lemaitre (80th). Wissam Ben Yedder is close to a double, but his shot grazes the left post of Nicolas Lemaitre (89th).

The meeting ended with this elimination against AS Monaco in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France. Next meeting for QRM with a trip to Bastia on the occasion of the 20th day of Ligue 2 BKT this Saturday January 8 at 7pm!
