This Thursday January 20, the Adventure Festival offers its last evening. A final where we will find the Pyrenees which, in the evening, will give way to the Bolivian Andes.
17 hours., sky school, directed by Siphay Vera, Brian Mathe and Morgan Monchaud, the latter two being present. Three friends have a common dream: to travel by air, independently and without motorized means! Meeting a paragliding enthusiast makes the project possible. After an accelerated training, the team embarks on a crossing of the Pyrenees, from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, in “hike and fly”. But an accident sends them back to their condition as beginners. By dint of self-sacrifice, they plan to take off from the highest wild peaks, an unthinkable project at the start of the adventure.
Then at 9 p.m., Mélusine Mallender comes to share Bolivia, heritage traditions, a film she directed with Christian Clot. It is in Bolivia that Mélusine Mallender resumes her journey in the footsteps of freedoms in Latin America, after Central Asia, South Asia and Africa. Starting her journey in this country, a revolutionary symbol of Latin America and one of the poorest countries in the world, but also one of the most geographically varied, was obvious for this solo adventurer on a motorcycle!
Closing of the festival by Michel Poudade, mayor, and Jean-Pierre Astrich, president of the Club de l’aventure.
