The Pays d’art et d’histoire Vézère Ardoise offers until Tuesday, February 15, the exhibition L’aventure du rail, in the municipal council room, in partnership with the town hall. It traces the history of the establishment of the railway in the north-west of Corrèze and the transformations generated in the territory. The exhibition is accompanied by two films: a collection of testimonials and an animated film made by students from Vigeois.
The exhibition is accessible to all thanks to its 17 panels at two reading levels: one for children and one for adults. Workshops led by a cultural mediator are offered free of charge to primary school classes.
Convenient. Free. For all. Exhibition visible from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Information: Country of Art and History Vézère Ardoise Manoir des Tours 24, rue de la Grande Fontaine 19240 Allassac.
