a new adventure uniting the worlds of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The future of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will connect in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

The new opus of the Xenoblade Chronicles license from the Japanese studio Monolith Software will take place on Aionios, a world where Keves (a nation where mechanical technology has developed. Its forces are mainly composed of units with combat vehicles that they operate manually) and Agnus (a nation versed in the ether , a magical technology. Its forces are mainly composed of units specialized in the handling of the ether and fighting with the help of small mobile and autonomous weapons powered by this energy) have been at war for many years. Six soldiers from these two nations will find themselves at the heart of a great story whose central theme is life.

As the title suggests, this is the third episode of the series Xenoblade Chronicles. We are currently working on making the final adjustments to make it the best possible game thanks to what we have learned from previous games. Both the shattered sword of Mekonis and the remains of the Urayan titan are present in the game’s visuals. I imagine that those who saw the trailer were surprised by this final scene. What could this visual mean? Unfortunately I can’t tell you more about it yet. On the other hand, I can tell you that it was designed several years ago, more precisely between the end of the development of Xenoblade Chronicles and the beginning of that of Xenoblade Chronicles 2“, says Tetsuya Takahashi, Executive Director of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at Monolith Software. “So it’s not something we recently added to the series. We believe that this title will be enjoyed by both people who have experienced Xenoblade Chronicles and/or Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and those who will be playing a title from this series for the first time. The characters have been designDesigned by Masatsugu Saito, who also worked on the characters for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Koichi Mugitani did some of the main art for the game, which unfortunately we can’t show you at this time. As you can see, this new title brings together talents who have already worked on episodes of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. The game’s music has been entrusted to artists who have already worked on the series in the past. The music for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE (TOMOri Kudo, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu and Mariam Abounnasr. They retain this unique touch specific to the series while tackling a new challenge, namely the integration of a motif played on the flute. This instrument is also one of the central themes of the game.
