David Dostal, the coach of Anglet Hormadi Pays Basque will no longer be on the bench next season. The club management announced it this Monday, March 28, 2022 in a press release.
Anglet Hormadi Pays Basque has announced that by mutual agreement with the management of the club, David Dostal, coach for two seasons, will no longer be there next year. According to the press release Franco-Czech coach, 48, had an “extra-sporting professional opportunity”. He will now move towards a new life project between France and the Czech Republic.
7 player seasons and 2 coach seasons
David Dostal has spent a good part of his career on the Anglo ice rink. Indeed this former hockey player played 7 seasons with the club in the Magnus League between 1999 and 2006. In 2020, the management of Anglet Hormadi Pays Basque had put him at the head of the team. The Angloys finished 10th in the table this year.
The club wanted to thank its coach after two seasons for his “involvement and the work done and wish him a lot of success in this new project”.
Anglet Hormadi Basque Country is now preparing its succession in order to build ” an ambitious project for the years to come“. The management is already working on the profile of the sports staff for the next season.
