Fallout 76 – Wanting to extend the adventure for a long time, Bethesda hires Double Eleven as reinforcements

More hands for Fallout 76.

It is very difficult to deny it: Fallout 76 did not have the career originally envisioned by Bethesda. However, despite a chaotic start and an absolute dislike of a good part of the community for this episode, the American firm has not given up and we cannot therefore take away from it the motivation it has shown, but also from her motivation.

Because recently, at the bend of several declarations, Bethesda gave the sound of a fierce desire not to abandon its service game. What if it started with the presentation of a new year of contents able to land the aliens in the wastelandthis mainly continued with a much louder announcement made by its design director, Mark Tucker:

“The funny thing is, if I could share what’s on that other screen, you’d love to see it, because it’s a five-year roadmap I’ve been working on. We have long term plans although things get fuzzier the further we go, as we have to tweak and adapt things to the players’ desires. But right now, I’m spending a lot of my time on these three- and five-year plans. […] we are dedicated to updating Fallout 76.”

‟ The message for our players is that there is no reason to believe that we are going to stop updating this game. We have taken steps to ensure that we can continue to produce updates over the long term. ”

And precisely, these measures lead us today to an announcement that greatly confirms this desire. Indeed, it is the main interested party who teaches us. British studio, accustomed to supporting big names in the industry, Double Eleven will now work with Bethesda on Fallout 76 which welcomes on this occasion the reinforcement of a studio of 150 people.

Having recently tackled Minecraft Dungeons and Rust, the studio is obviously delighted with the idea of working on such a license… well, rather, to continue working because the merger between the two firms took place at the end of 2020 with, at the key, expected content to integrate Appalachia and more in 2022.

‟ It is a privilege to see the trust given to work on one of the greatest franchises in video game history. The team we assembled to work on Fallout 76 is so passionate about the series. Working with Bethesda is a dream come true. ”

Now see how Fallout 76 will manage to push his adventure further. An adventure that, at best, could end up becoming a new No Man’s Sky in terms of redemption. Who knows after all… In any case, that’s all we can wish for the fans who would find something to eat waiting for the hypothetical Fallout New Vegas 2.
